OxCon 2016 and DevCon 2016
I recently arrived back from Bali and attended the London Super Comic Con at the Excel centre in February and I had a great time.
It was first event of this kind I had been to showing my work and everyone was very positive in their reactions and feedback. I was also able to do a little work at the table on a new inked drawing inspired by my trip to Bali. I sold prints and an original piece. It was nice to be complimented on the fact that I try to do my own subjects rather than sell prints of Harley Quinn or Deadpool.
It was a joy to meet Matt Dixon (www.mattdixon.co.uk) and Jeremy Bastian (www.jeremybastian.bigcartel.com) and their kind words ment a lot to me. Matt does brilliant gesture and figure work with a tantalising sense of humour and Jeremy is a graphic master and I highly recommend his Cursed Pirate Girl series.
Early Sunday morning was spent talking about Durer and Patrick Woodroffe !
I will have a table at the inaugural OxCon at The Examination Schools in the High Street Oxford on March 5th and 6th and the following week I will be at DevCon 2016 at Plymouth's Guildhall on Sunday March 12th. Please feel free to stop by and talk to me.
